Welcome to freemyteam, our sports-oriented social network website, where members build and extend and form strong relationships with their teammates, other fans, officials and administrators via real-world sports activities.
freemyteam takes our Users’ privacy very seriously.

2. Important Parts of the freemyteam Policy
- This policy is a part of our Terms of Use which is available here.
- This policy covers what personal information freemyteam collects about you, how we use it and the disclosures that we make of it. User Data is described in more detail below under the heading “Collection and Use of Information by freemyteam”.
- This policy only applies to freemyteam and its affiliated/related companies and specifically does not apply to the practices of other unaffiliated or unrelated third parties that may advertise, sponsor or provide portions of the freemyteam website. These third parties may have their own privacy statements which can be viewed at their sites.
- You can revise the information you have provided to freemyteam at any time by revising your personal profile at www.freemyteam.com.
- Your User Data on freemyteam remains under your control, it may be edited or deleted by you at any time. You can also end your freemyteam membership at any time by clicking here.
- We will not disclose your User Data to any entity not owned or controlled by freemyteam for marketing purposes unless expressly authorized by you.
- freemyteam may terminate the registration of any person who has registered with freemyteam for any breach of the freemyteam Terms of Use, including the freemyteam Privacy Policy. If your registration is terminated by us due to you deliberately supplying false and misleading information to us, we reserve the right to take all further appropriate steps as we may deem necessary to protect our interests and those of other Users, including but not limited to, disclosure of the activity to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
3. Collection and Use of Information by freemyteam
Freemyteam collects User Data about you from you and other users of the website. User Data means non-public personal information about you and includes information that: (1) you provide to us through registration on the website, (for example, your name, address, email address, or phone number) or that you may choose to provide as part of your personal profile (e.g., age, sports, interests and other content, such as photos and videos); (2) information that other users of the website might provide to us about you, through blogs, tags, instant messaging and other features of the website; and (3) may be collected by us as related to your use of the website (such as your IP address or browser type).
When you use freemyteam, you have flexibility to deal with your User Data. You may set up your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, perform searches and queries, form or join groups or networks, set up events, add applications, and transmit information in different ways. We collect User Data so that you can use the features of this website. We may retain this information so that you can view prior messages you have sent or see who your friends are on the website.
Any Content (as defined in the freemyteam Terms of Use) that you post on freemyteam is at your own risk. The website allows you to set privacy options to limit access to your pages, but no security measures are fail-safe. Freemyteam cannot control the actions of other members with whom you may choose to share your pages, Content and User Data. freemyteam does not guarantee that Content you upload or post on the website will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for alteration or circumvention by unauthorized third parties of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the website. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of your Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other members have copied or stored your Content.
If you want to tell a friend about freemyteam, we will ask you for your friend’s email address, and send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit the website. freemyteam stores this information to send this email, to register the friend if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of this feature of our website. Your friend may contact us at reportit@freemyteam.com to request that we remove information about him or her from our database.
Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on freemyteam is a violation of the freemyteam Terms of Service and should be reported to reportit@freemyteam.com .
We may also collect information about your use of the website that cannot be linked to your identity (“Non Personal Usage Data”). We collect this anonymous information to: analyze and enhance the performance of the website, customize the website, conduct statistical analyses, conduct surveys, develop promotions and generally market the website to advertisers and other marketing partners. freemyteam may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We may also use Non Personal Usage Data to serve ads to you that we think might be of interest to you, but we will not reveal your identity to the advertising company.
We will utilize your User Data to create your personalized freemyteam page according to the preferences you set out in your freemyteam account. User Data that you submit to us as part of your profile is used mostly to be displayed and edited by you as part of your profile when you access the website and to be displayed to other members that you allow to view that information through your privacy settings. You may set your privacy settings to allow other freemyteam users to add information about you to your profile. Profile information you submit to freemyteam will be available to users of freemyteam who belong to at least one of the networks that you permit to access the information through your privacy settings.
We may use your email address to contact you from time to time or for security reasons to confirm you are who you say you are. freemyteam will send you emails about the freemyteam website and services offered through the website. freemyteam may also send you other service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the website. Generally, you may opt out of such service emails by clicking here, though freemyteam reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
From time to time we might use information about you that we collect from other sources, such as Internet blogs, instant messaging services, and information from other users of freemyteam, and other public sources such as newspapers to add to your profile. When we use this other information, we usually allow you to limit or prohibit the use of this other information in association with your profile.
Sharing your User Data
Freemyteam is hosted by a third party service provider based in the United States. In order to provide the services of freemyteam to you, it is necessary that your User Data be transferred to this service provider for processing and storage. We may also transfer your User Data to other third party service providers to perform various services for us, including, but not limited to as sending out email updates about freemyteam, cleansing our member lists of duplicate information, processing payments for products or services, offering online job applications, or providing search results or links (including sponsored links). To perform these services, our service providers may have access to your personal information to use for a limited time under strict confidentiality and data security conditions in connection with the services that they provide. Please note that, under United States laws, your User Data may be subject to access by government authorities in that country without your consent.
We do not provide your User Data to third party marketers without your permission. For example, you may choose to allow us to share information with marketers or electronic commerce providers through sponsored groups or other on-site offers. We may also offer products or services jointly with other companies or organizations on freemyteam. We may share your User Data with that company or companies in connection with your use of those products or services.
We will disclose your User Data if we reasonably believe we are required or authorized to do so by law, such as in the case of subpoenas, other court orders or where applicable privacy laws permit. These disclosures may include sharing information with lawyers, law enforcement authorities or other government institutions.
Your name, network names, and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the freemyteam network. We do this so that your friends can find you and send a friend request. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your profile information unless they have a relationship to you (friend, friend of friend, member of your networks, etc.) that allows such access based on your privacy settings. In addition, User Data that you mark as aPrivatea is shielded from web bots and spiders.
We will otherwise disclose your User Data as we have been directed by you in your choice of privacy settings on freemyteam. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting Content, this information may become publicly available.
If we provide demonstration accounts to non-members, the accounts will only have limited capabilities and passwords will be changed regularly to limit possible misuse.
4. Reviewing and Changing Your Profile
At any time you can review, revise, or delete the User Data included in your freemyteam personal profile by clicking on the appropriate links in My Profile section at www.freemyteam.com. The freemyteam personal profile section, where appropriate, will also allow to you to;
(a) consent/not consent to sharing your User Data with other freemyteam users
(b) consent/not consent to sharing your User Data with other businesses.
When you update information, we generally keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
However, note that when you share information with other individuals on freemyteam, you generally cannot remove such information.
(a) Children Under 13
(b) freemyteam is not a website for use by children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not attempt to register for freemyteam or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. In the event that we discover that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. (c) If you are 13 or older but under the age of majority where you live, you should ask your parents for permission before sending any information about yourself over the Internet.
(d) Internet Awareness
Whenever you voluntarily post personal information in public areas, like the freemyteam site, other blogs, forums, groups or message boards, you should be aware that this information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by others for their own purposes including sending you unsolicited communications.
Please exercise discretion in deciding what information you disclose or post anywhere on the Internet including on the freemyteam site.
freemyteam encourages younger users 13 or older that if they feel threatened or uncomfortable because of something on-line, to tell an adult or report it to us at freemyteam.
5. Security
The privacy and security of your User Data depends on how you protect your account password. You should never disclose your account password to anyone you do not know and trust.
freemyteam uses industry standard technology designed to help keep the storage of your User Data secure. All User Data is stored on secure servers located behind a firewall. However, it is important that you understand that no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of freemyteam to intercept or access User Data, unlawfully during transmission. While we strive to protect your User Data when it is under our control, freemyteam cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to freemyteam’s or its Users’ negligence, shall freemyteam be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages that result from the use or misuse of User Data on any freemyteam site, even if freemyteam or an authorized representative of freemyteam has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Use of Cookies and Web Beacons
The freemyteam website uses Cookies. Cookies are a standard Internet technology consisting of a small file that is deposited on the User’s computer and is tied to information about the user. Cookies are used by most websites to allow the provision of useful and personalized features for their users. Cookies allow freemyteam to store and retrieve login information on a User’s system. They provide freemyteam with data that we can use to improve the quality of the freemyteam service for you and make it easier to use. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you would prefer, you can set yours to refuse cookies. However, you may not be able to take full advantage of our web site if you do so.
In addition, freemyteam advertising and sponsorship partners may also use cookies or web beacons. Web beacons are web pages that contain an electronic file that allow a web site to count users who have visited that page or to access certain cookies. Advertisements that appear on this website might be served by third party ad servers who will receive your IP address when they serve ads to you. 7. Third Party Advertising
freemyteam may share Non Personal Usage Data profile information and aggregate usage information to advertisers and other third parties in order to present to members more targeted advertising, products and services. If we have received your consent, we may also supply third parties with your User Data.
8. Change of Ownership
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information in the event of a transfer of ownership of freemyteam, such as acquisition by or merger with another company, or the sale of freemyteam’s assets. In these types of events, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and the privacy policy will be grandfathered by the with your data.
9. Changes in Privacy Policy
From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy and will post a notice of any significant changes on our website. You should visit this page periodically to review any such changes to the privacy policy.
